Insure personal belongings
Having personal possessions insurance means you’ll be covered for damage that occurs to your personal property caused by an animal in your care. Coverage includes up £2,000 for the year and mobile phones are limited to £500.
Pet Business Insurance offers optional personal belongings insurance because we know that working with animals is unpredictable. Having personal possessions cover for your pet business means that you can offer in-home services like pet sitting, grooming, training, dog walking and more with less stress that you’ll incur costly damage to your possessions.
Personal Possessions Cover FAQs
Will you cover damage incurred by my own animals?
No, our personal possessions insurance is an optional add-on that only covers damage to your property that is caused by an animal in your care, not by an animal of your own.
To what extent will my possession be covered?
We will not cover damages arising from yourself, another person, or animals owned by yourself. We also do not cover general wear and tear. For example, if a piece of furniture that is part of a set is damaged, the entire set will not be replaced, only the damaged piece of furniture.
What items will not be covered?
Damage to your vehicle or their contents will not be covered. Nor will damage to property loaned or hired out by yourself.
