Our vet fees insurance will cover up to £2,000 of fees for veterinary fees incurred in the treatment of an animal illness. For a claim to be valid, the animal must have been in your care, custody, or control at the time of first showing clinical symptoms, or within 72 hours of leaving you.
As with many kinds of insurance, there are some notable exclusions. For example, you cannot claim for animals boarded for more than six months, animals less than eight weeks old, or animals owned by you.
Vet fees insurance is available as optional cover with many of our pet business insurance policies, including insurance for dog walkers, dog breeders, and dog day care business owners.
If you are concerned about a client potentially making a claim against you for accidental injury to an animal, we also provide pet accidents and injury insurance as standard with many of our pet business insurance policies.
